This medium-voltage switchgear is engineered for the switching, protection, control and isolation of distribution circuits in utility, industrial, infrastructure and renewable-energy applications. Each lineup is configured around the project single-line diagram, system voltage, available fault current, protection philosophy and installation environment.
Typical Configuration Range
• Maximum Voltage Classes: 4.76 kV, 8.25 kV, 15 kV, 27 kV and 38 kV
• Continuous Current: Typically 600–4,000 A, depending on voltage class and design

Standards and Testing
IEEE/ANSI metal-clad configurations are available for applicable requirements of IEEE C37.20.2. Circuit breakers and switching duties are coordinated with applicable IEEE C37 series requirements. Arc-resistant construction is available only when specifically designed, tested and documented to IEEE C37.20.7. IEC configurations may be engineered to IEC 62271-200 when specified.
Final voltage class, BIL, continuous current, short-circuit rating, breaker duty, bus rating, enclosure type and protection scheme are established through project-specific engineering and confirmed on approved drawings and test documentation.
